DREW FORSYTH & CO – Our Winning Journey With LDL
Drew Forsyth & Co based in Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire, are makers of bespoke luxury wooden cabinetry. Founded in 1967 by Drew Forsyth and now led by his son George Forsyth, the company continues with the same mission – to build and install exceptional furniture for exceptional homes.
All furniture is hand-crafted in a 16,000 sq ft factory and products are showcased in the company showroom. Drew Forsyth & Co not only makes furniture for kitchens. Clients are increasingly seeking a coherent look throughout a property, so they also manufacture furniture for bedrooms, studies, wine cellars and increasingly home offices.
Mike Czerniak, marketing executive stated:
“The ethos of the company means our customers tend to be at the higher end of the residential market - typically Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes, farmhouses and manor houses. We believe Blum provides the quality in design and quality in component manufacture that our craftsman requires to achieve the millimetre perfection expected by our customers”
Growth in the levels of business and evolving sophistication in furniture design over recent years meant that it became necessary to consider the use of a single national supplier able to supply product and service innovation, solve problems with immediate access to knowledgeable Blum specialists, provision of reliable and flexible services and a demonstrable track record of excellent customer service.
Drew Forsyth & Co now utilise the breadth of product and knowledge LDL’s specialism with carefuly selected business partners provides to win tenders. Geoffrey Forsyth, Director New Business Development described the combination of LDL and Blum as “providing unparalleled quality and excellent customer service. We have the same pricing on low volume scales and if there is any sort of delay, LDL always communicate in good time – rather than on the day a delivery is due, like some suppliers do.”
Geoffrey Forsyth, Director New Business Development described the combination of LDL and Blum as “providing unparalleled quality and excellent customer service.
In respect to kitchens Drew Forsyth & Co are experiencing continued growth in handcrafted furniture and a trend for islands to include functional equipment like wine coolers, cooker hobs and sinks.
Mike Czerniak stated with the challenges ahead there is “great value in LDL’s regular communications on the market, design trends and importantly product availability” so our designers and cabinet makers can continue to achieve customers visions and ultimately win business”.
