We are deeply committed to protecting the planet and actively combatting climate change through our business processes. Our unwavering respect for the environment drives us to minimise waste and safeguard natural resources. In each edition of BROADCAST, we will share with you further details about our sustainability journey, progress, and efforts to make a positive impact in our own meaningful way.
Plant Based Water Bottles.
Our endeavour to make our planet healthier continues unabated, as we explore all facets of our business for more sustainable ways to reduce our environmental footprint. In our latest move, we've transitioned from using plastic bottles and cups in our business to water bottles made entirely of plant-based materials, lids included, and we now solely use glass drinking vessels.
The water is sourced from British springs, pure and alkaline with a pH of 7.6, extracted right from the ancient limestone hills of Mendip in Somerset.
The containers that this water comes in are equally environmentally friendly...
The carton water bottles are a space-saver, too. They can be flattened to their original shape post-use, thus occupying less space in our recycling bins. Furthermore, every part of the Carton Water bottle is recyclable, cap included.
Our solution perfectly aligns with our businesses seeking to reduce our environmental footprint, promoting sustainable waste management, and support the health of our planet.
Embracing Waste Management for a Sustainable Future.
We're excited to announce the addition of a comprehensive waste management system to our Planet Initiative, amplifying our commitment to sustainable business and reducing landfill waste.
Waste management does not have to be just a regulatory requirement; we believe it's essential for sustainable development and the circular economy, turning today's waste into tomorrow's resource.
Traditional practices are resource-intensive; however, by recycling and reusing, we can conserve our planet's limited resources.
Our waste management programme aims to reduce landfill waste, mitigating global warming and lessening our carbon footprint. Despite the challenges facing a company the size of ours, we've collaborated with waste and recycling providers to lessen the financial impact.
Our strategy is focused on minimising disposal and recycling expenses, all while meeting environmental standards. This endeavor not only strengthens our brand identity but also ensures we adhere to regulations, showcasing that businesses can thrive without harming the environment. While our solution is still evolving, we are on the right path, and the statistics below attest to our progress.
